Coach Destiney Barker

Destiney was born and raised in Norwood, Ohio where she attended Norwood High School and found her love of Volleyball. Destiney will be bringing over 12 years of experience on the volleyball court to the table. During her court time in high school Destiney suffered an injury which caused her to take a break from the sport. Four years after graduating Destiney decided to pick up sand volleyball and has been playing ever since. This will be Destiney’s 3rd year coaching volleyball! She began her coaching career at Cincy Crush as an assistant coach for 12 Gray then moved over to CVA where she coached 15R and is now back at Cincy Crush! One of Destiney’s goals as a coach is to teach, inspire, and drive all of her athletes to be the best they can be. Not only on the court, but off the court as well. In doing so she hopes to ignite the same flame of passion and enthusiasm she has for the sport in each of her athletes. Destiney has overcome some challenges as a volleyball player and hopes to bring a unique perspective to the overall outlook of the game.
