Coach Nicolo Merrelli

Nic started coaching at St. Gabriel in 2014.  He began as an assistant coach on both basketball and volleyball teams.   Nic quickly transitioned into the head coach for volleyball, basketball, and track.  He was instrumental in starting a track program at the school in 2017.  As a result of his coaching efforts, his teams have been able to add some first, second, and third place trophies to the school’s trophy cases.

Nic has been a member of the SGCS Booster organization since 2015.  During his tenure, he has held the following positions:  President, Vice President, Girls Basketball Coordinator, Boys Basketball Coordinator, Girls Volleyball Coordinator, Boys Volleyball Coordinator, and Track Coordinator.  His coaching experience includes coaching children from grades K through 8. 

Nic is very excited to be joining Cincy Crush and expanding his experience to club volleyball.  His coaching focus is to work as a team, improve skills, improve knowledge of the sport, and to help build confidence. 

​Nic is a graduate of Beavercreek High School and Miami University.  When he is not coaching, Nic enjoys spending time with his wife of 24 years, his two daughters, two dogs and the family guinea pig.
