Assistant Coach DAKOTA POLLYDakota grew up surrounded by volleyball. Her older sister played club volleyball growing up and Dakota would play with the older girls at their practices, camps, and trainings. She instantly fell in love with the sport. Dakota officially began playing for club teams at the age of 12. She also played for Nagel Middle School and Turpin High School. Her main position was setter, but she also played as a right side hitter. In 2012, she played for Coach Doug Marion at Cincinnati Volleyball Academy. When he asked her to consider trying out for his new club, Cincy Crush, there was no question about it.
Dakota played for Cincy Crush under Coach Doug Marion during their first two years as a club. She was team captain and starting setter both years. Unfortunately, due to several ankle injuries, she was unable to play during her senior year. After some much needed recovery time, she began playing again at the University of Dayton on several competitive intramural teams. This will be her first year assistant coaching volleyball at Cincy Crush and she is extremely excited! |
