Annual Sand FUN-draiser
February 5th, 2022
Our annual fundraiser allows us to keep the facility up-to-date with equipment used by the teams to continue to grow and improve their skills. The event is held at Grand Sands Volleyball and is made up of two Sand Quad Volleyball Lotteries throughout the day. We also have a number of baskets sponsored by each team and as well as donations from local establishments for everyone to enter chances to win. The morning lottery will consist of our 14 Regional teams and below. Our evening lottery will consist of our 14 American teams and above. We encourage friends and families to participate in each event.
The morning session is a little more laid back. The morning session will allow participants to request to be on a certain team if they'd like. The other players will be randomly drawn trying to keep all teams evenly balanced. Some teams might consist of 5 or 6 players based off of the number of participants.
The evening sessions is the more competitive of the two sessions and will have random draws to form each team. Players will be ranked as A, B, C, and D players and teams will randomly be created trying to make sure all teams are evenly balanced as much as possible. You cannot request being on a team with another individual in the evening session.
If playing in the sand isn't your thing, we would still love to see you!! We will have Superbowl Squares this year and amazing baskets. This is a major component in helping our nonprofit club stay up-to-date and upkeep of the facilities and we appreciate your support. If you can't make it but still would like some chances to win some of the baskets, reach out to our Sand FUNdraiser Coordinator and we will do our best to arrange something.
MORNING SESSION: CHECK-IN STARTS @ 8:00AM, PLAY TO START AROUND 9:00AM
EVENING SESSION: CHECK-IN STARTS @ 2:00PM, PLAY TO START AROUND 3:00PM
The cost for each session is $25.
We will also be offering a Chipotle style buffet bar similar to years past per session. The cost is $8.50 per plate. This price gives you a one-time pass through the bar. The bar will include options of meat, chipotle-style fixings and tortilla chips. No walk-ups will be accepted.
The last day for registrations is February 1st.
If you would like superbowl squares, you can CLICK HERE. The cost is $20 per square. Payouts will be $200 to the winning numbers in Quarters 1, 2, 3, and 4. The final score will get $200 as well (this may be the 4th quarter score or the winning numbers if the game goes to Overtime). Please bring payment to the event and pay at the superbowl table or give to someone will be attending to provide to us. Your square will not be eligible for winning until payment is received. If payment is not received by end of the Sand Event, we will remove your entry and open it back up for someone to claim. Numbers will be selected randomly by a Crush player once all squares are full (this will be recorded if we are unable to fill the squares by the end of the sand fundraiser).
