Assistant Coach Carly Simons

I began my volleyball journey in seventh grade at Amelia Middle School, where I played setter and instantly fell in love with the sport. I continued my playing career at West Clermont High School while also competing for Cincy Crush Volleyball Club. After finishing my final season as a player, I knew I wanted to give back to the sport that had given me so much.
I began coaching as an assistant in 2020 and transitioned into a head coaching role in 2022. Since then, I have had the opportunity to coach a wide range of age groups at the Regional, American, and National levels. Throughout my coaching career, I have enjoyed helping athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and grow both on and off the court. Some of my most memorable coaching accomplishments include first-place finishes at the Central Zone Invitational (2022), Presidents Cup (2026), Bluegrass (2026), and Battle by the Bay (2026).
Outside of volleyball, I am a licensed real estate agent and am currently pursuing a degree in Marketing at the University of Cincinnati. When I am not coaching, you can usually find me playing sand volleyball, going on walks with my dog, Aspen, or curled up with a good book!
