Coach Minnie FuMinnie has played competitive volleyball from elementary school all the way to college in China, always as a setter. Along the way, she earned her National Second-Class Athlete Certification in Volleyball in China. It has been a while since she played, but the passion for volleyball has never changed.
She moved to Cincinnati with her family in 2012. For the past four years, she's coached her daughter’s school volleyball team, helping young players develop their skills while discovering the joy and confidence that come from being part of a team. This year marks her first season coaching club volleyball, and she's excited to begin this new chapter with Cincy Crush. To her, volleyball is much more than just a sport. It teaches teamwork, communication, discipline, resilience, trust, and how to support one another—even when things don’t go as planned. These are lessons that extend far beyond the volleyball court. "Volleyball has been part of my life wherever I’ve been in the world—and I’m excited to share that passion with the next generation of players at Cincy Crush. 🏐🧡" |
