Assistant Coach Tina ManningPassionate is the word that comes to mind when Tina talks about volleyball. She loves the sport because it allows anyone, short or tall, old or young, pro or amateur, an opportunity to have fun and remain active for life.
Tina has been fortunate to play since 7th grade and her love for the game has only grown stronger over the years. She is excited to be a part of growing the game to youth because it gives her the opportunity to teach life lessons that last beyond the court. One of Tina's favorite books is "Reach the Summit," by the late Pat Summitt, a legendary Women's Basketball Head Coach at the University of Tennessee. The "Definite Dozen" Pat instilled in her teams for success are what Tina likes to use not only as a coach but also in her everyday life, which includes the key principles: Respect Yourself & Others, Responsibility, Loyalty, Discipline, Working Smart and Team Above Yourself, just to name a few. When Tina is not playing volleyball you can find her with a cat on her lap, hiking trails with dogs or doing anything outdoors!
